I would be very grateful if you would take the time to write an article about how to make up a skin regiment out of ingredients you might already have around the house- mostly in the kitchen probably.
Don’t get me wrong. i am not by any means advocating that the use of so called "natural" ingredient is somehow more beneficial in any way to the skin – taking that as a fact, as most people do, would be just stupid, with no bases in science, but in folklore and lack of sufficient scientific information.
All matter in the universe is made up of atoms, and every single carbon atom for example, would be absolutely chemically identical to every single other carbon atom. Well, there are differences in the number of electrons – carbon atoms with different number of electrons are called ions, and differences in the number of neutrons, which make up isotopes, if there are differences in the number of protons, that’ll be a different chemical element, but my point was referring to the fact that a naturally occurring carbon atom and a man synthesized one, providing they are identical in electron and neutrons numbers, do not, in any way, behave differently.
Therefore all ingredients used in cosmetics, whether natural or man-made, have to be the subject of the same safety regulations.
"Natural" doesn’t really have an official definition in the first place – in the E.U. at least it doesn’t – and in my opinion that’s a good thing! ill explain in a minute – and without regulations, any company could promote their products as being natural which due to popular belief translates as better and as a result, to bigger sales for the company making the claim.
The truth of the matter is, everything out there is natural! so a definition or regulation restricting the use of the term would not be required. Organic, sure, that’s another thing, it refers to a more specific concept, but "natural", i simply can not imagine anything from this universe or a parallel one that is unnatural! This is a paradox in my opinion!
Well, back to less philosophical and more practical stuff, the reason i am asking u to write such an article is that, financially, we’re all having a hard time in this period, and no matter how cheap a cosmetic product is, ultimately, it is going to have a monetary cost – we live in a monetary sistem, everything has a cost,
Further more, although "organic" or "naturally occurring" and "good for your skin" are not interchangeable, there is certainly a lot of stuff to be found in a household kitchen that can have potentially beneficial ingredients for your skin.
Again, the reason im asking this is purely money, not false beneficial claims related to "natural" products.
Also, im not referring to old, dated, or superstition based remedies, but on scientifically proven ingredients. im sure there are some to be found in there somewhere! most of the state of the art ingredients used in expensive skin care are ultimately derived from plants and plant
extracts, very few are actually entirely synthesized in a chemical laboratory,
For example, i read that the two primary proteins contained in milk, casein and whey, applied topically can have good water-binding properties. Caffeine has potential as an antioxidant. Resveratrol found in red grapes and red wine has anti-inflammatory properties, green tea is an antioxidants and has anti-inflammation properties, pomegranate is also antioxidant and has anticancer properties.
When the financial situation demands it, people can afford to cut loose on cosmetics. Food is another story. You have to eat in order to live – so in one way, food is forever! or at least as long as you live.

1 bottle costs about on their super saver plan. There are 60 capsules and 1 daily serving is 2 capsules. The 2 main ingrediants are CoQ10 and Resveratrol. 1 daily serving includes 100 mg CoQ10 and 30 mg of Resveratrol. There are also some additional vitamins included. I also bought 1 bottle of CoQ10 from Carlson which has 90 soft gels where each soft gel has 200 MG of CoQ10. The price of the Carlson bottle was about on Amazon.com. It doesn’t have the resveratrol but it has about 9-10 times the CoQ10 for the money. The other vitamins that are included in the Purity Products product..i get from other supplements. So, is the Purity Products Co-Q-Max Daily product worth a bottle? I suspect much of the cost is to pay for all their advertising and whatever. I would appreciate non-biased comments on this. Thanks.

I recently called them for what was advertised on an AM radio station as a free bottle of CoQ10 with Resveratrol. When I called the number for my ‘free’ bottle, they of course asked for my credit card number since I had to pay for shipping for the ‘free’ bottle. I didn’t hear this requirement mentioned on the radio station. Then they told me that after I receive it, that I have 15 days to call them to cancel or they will be sending me future bottles at nearly a pop. I’ve read a few reviews by people at various websites saying they had similar experience and had a very hard time getting them not to bill their credit card for these additional bottles. I’d experience any truthful comments. Also, does anyone have any opinions on Purity Products CoQ10 with Resveratrol? Thanks.

…condition.
It is my understanding that Resveratrol is similar to the main healing ingredient in red wine?
Does Resveratrol help or hinder healing from gout?

I know fish oil caps cause serious gout flare ups because there is no one regulating supplements they publish no side affects.

It is another money not health driven industry.

www.DietCoffee.org “The primary active compounds discovered in Siberian Chaga are a variety of triterpenes and sterols including Lanosterol, Ergosterol Inotodials, Saponins, and Polysaccharides. Modern research is now beginning to demonstrate that these compounds are effective for human maladies treated by folk medicine practitioners with natural products, without toxic side-effect, for millennia. Arguably, the most well known western research conducted on the use of Chaga has been performed by Dr. Kirsti Kahlos and her team at School of Pharmacology, at the University of Helsinki, Finland. Dr. Kahlos team conducted studies validating the immuno-modulating impact of Lanosterol-linked triterpenes effective as a flu-vaccination and for anti-tumor applications. Institutional studies at the University of Tokyo, Japan have determined effectiveness of Inotodials in the destruction of certain cancerous carcinosarcomas and mammary adenocarcinomas. The Melanin complex produced by the Chaga mushroom demonstrates high antioxidant and genoprotective effects ( Melanin Complex from Medicinal Mushroom Inonotus Obliquus, Journal of Medical Mushrooms, 2002, vol. 4) . The polysaccharide beta-glucan, also present in Chaga, is proven to be effective at inhibiting mutagenic and immuno-modulating effects of cancerous tumors by triggering immune system response ( SP Wasser, 2002, Institute of Evolution, University of Haifa, Israel). from http www.DietCoffee.org
